Tier cakes

  • We are unable to use fresh flowers & greenery on ou our cakes due to food safety reason. We use freeze dried flowers on our cakes, these flowers are organically grown in VIC and all edible food grade flowers. Looks as good as fresh flowers on cakes and no need to worry about tiny little bugs, sap leaking into the cake and wilting.
    Please note that we no longer offering buttercream flower cakes – We will be using freeze dried flowers for any floral decorations.
  • Price will include structural work e.g. dowels, supporting & base boards and packaging.
  • We don’t use anything artificial. We are unable to use vibrant bottled food colours, metallic dust, fondant. We make cakes that are edible, not for display.
  • We can supply iced only – ready to be decorated cakes.
  • CAKE TASTING – We don’t provide cake tastings. As many of our royal customers already tried our cakes over 5 yrs through many occasions or from the cake fridge at Brother bear cafe for 3 years.  Unfortunately we no longer supply our cakes to cafe, however, occasionally we will create a random cake tasting box sales with a mixture of flavours through our Facebook & Instagram @bloominghillscake, so keep an eye on these if you wish to taste a few different styles at once. Please contact us if you want to be on the waiting list so we can contact you when it becomes available.

Price guide

  • Price will be subject to size, servings, flavour, number of tiers and design. Approx price guide of our tier cakes with simple freeze dried flower decorations are
    – 2 tiers (Standard height 8″+6″, serves approx 30-35 guests)  $450-550.
    – 2 tiers (Extended height 8″+6″, serves approx 50-60 guests)  $600-750.
    – 3 tiers (Standard height 10″+8″+6″, serves approx 65-75 guests) $860-950.
    – 3 tiers (Extended height 10″+ Standard 8 & 6″, serves approx 80-90 guests) $950 -1100.

*All of our products are made from gluten free ingredients, and there are no gluten containing ingredients used in our kitchen. The dedicated kitchen only used for Bloominghills – gluten free, vegan & allergy free baking. We take our hygiene and your dietary requirements very seriously. We always make sure our bakewares, tools and equipment are clean between each creation to minimize any risk of cross contamination.

** We don't use fresh flowers/ greenery due to food safety reasons. We can supply "iced only" cakes, ready to be decorated by you /florist.
Please note that we are unable to copy other designer's work. We can get the feel / inspirations from the cake you are after, create something similar.

Dietary note

  • All of our products are gluten free, vegan (no dairy, no egg & cruelty free ingredients) soy free, nut free and created in our dedicated “Bloominghills” kitchen.
  • No artificial ingredients or artificial food colours are used in our decorations. We only use organically grown culinary grade edible flowers in our decorations.
  • Our standard cakes are made with a minimal amount of cane sugar and other sweeteners e.g. maple syrup & organic rice malt syrup.
  • *Full Refined sugar free option is available, please use the check box on the product order form (note: a 15% surcharge applies).* We use xylitol, stevia, organic rice malt syrup, pure maple syrup, organic coconut sugar, dates for our refined sugar free products. Surcharge applies to cover the extra cost of  the ingredients.

  • Standard height – 3 layers of cake filled with choice of filling & cream. The final iced cake height is around 10-13cm.
  • Extended height – 4 layers of cake filled with choice of filling & cream. The final iced cake height is around 15-20cm. A cake board will be placed between the 2nd & 3rd layer of cake which separates a tall cake into two shorter cakes making it easier to serve.
  • Cake heights can change depending on flavour & how the whole cake is iced. The finished cake will be taller with the decorations.
